Career Coach Praises Progress, Bean Patch Releases Video

Kay Taylor met with her career coach again this morning and the report proved to be pleasantly familiar: our young star's career is progressing well. Though not released directly to the media, the Bean Patch has learned Kay Taylor measured out at a healthy 29 inches (which takes her above the 100th percentile), weighed a lean 17 pounds 5 ounces (75th percentile) and had a brainy head circumference of 45 centimeters (95th percentile).

In related sad news, an associate of Kay Taylor's career coach prematurely passed away this past Memorial Day. Dr. Stroud's tenure as a coach dates back to KayTay's father/co-agent's time with the practice. Though Kay Taylor did not have a direct relationship with Stroud, the practice was understandably shaken with the news.

And, in a Bean Patch first, our newly-formed multimedia department has released their long awaited first (and hopefully not last) video montage of our young star. It seems hard to believe that our precocious little lady debuted only six short months ago. It's amazing how time flies when you're taking the entertainment world by storm.

Kay Taylor Dials Up Holiday Weekend Fun

This Memorial Day Weekend began with optimistic weather forecasts from local meteorologists, and this time it turned out their prognostications proved to be correct. So, what does DC's biggest new talent do with three such magnificent days? First off, she needed to think about which friends she should call...

And, after a few calls, our young starlet was ready to party. Saturday, she met up for a quick walk and rendevous at a nearby playground with friend and local star, Jack Mershon. Jack even volunteered to push Kay Taylor's carriage to the playground.

Reports are Jack then encouraged the young star, and Kay Taylor and her mother/co-agent tentatively made their way down the slide to the cheers of the young Mr. Mershon. Exhausted from the excitement, Kay Taylor then took a nap before heading off to dinner with PACE group pal, Isabella. Anonymous sources say the dinner was a success, and KayTay was the perfect lady as she entertained herself in her Jumperoo while her co-agents enjoyed a delicious meal.

Sunday morning came with yet another morning get-together with young Jack - this time at Praline Bakery & Bistro for breakfast. As you might expect, rumors began to surface that a budding romance might be in the works between the two stars; however, representatives for both deny the two are anything more than "good friends." Afterwards, Kay Taylor and her co-agents did go for a quick walk in Georgetown - a first for the young star.

Monday was a busy day of yard work, a trip to American Plant nursery, as well as the occasional nap for our young starlet. Still, she did turn on the charm when friend Eleni came by to visit.

All in all, it was a beautiful weekend for a beautiful lady. The Bean Patch hopes its readers had a terrific Memorial Day Weekend.

Belated Report on Belated Mother's Day Celebration

Although it's been over half a week since the event took place, Kay Taylor's press department this morning released photos from a belated Mother's Day get-together with her mother/co-agent's mother in Olney, MD this past Sunday. Through photos of the event obtained by the Bean Patch, it appears Kay Taylor also got to spend some quality time with her cousin, rising Baltimore star Allison Custer.

Fortunately, the following evening, our starlet did manage to have some quiet downtime with her father/co-agent as they rehashed the events the previous day.

Still, beauty sleep is important for youthful up-and-comers like our precocious Kay Taylor, and, thus, her mother/co-agent informed the excited photographers it was time for the little lady to head off to bed. "Bed?" our young diva announced, "I'm not ready for bed! I'm ready for a few more photos." Ah, sometimes there seems to be little rest in the career of such an exciting star.

New Friends Celebrate Star

Kay Taylor spent last week meeting with several associates of her parents/co-agents. However, our young star's press department described the meetings differently: "I wouldn't call them 'associates', I'd call them 'friends' -- long-term, good friends."

Thursday evening arrived with the introduction of our starlet to Boston native Alex C. Alex, KayTay and her parents all headed down to DC's Georgetown waterfront to help celebrate the engagement of close buddy Fred L. and take in the views at Sequoia Restaurant. After weeks of rain, the Potomac River was not at its most picturesque, but the waiting paparazzi were able to snap a few photos of our star with her new pal...

...as well as a quick photo of her with her co-agents.

Friday brought a chance encounter with Julie R., a childhood friend of Kay Taylor's mother/ co-agent. Press coverage of the event was less broad than the previous evening, but the Bean Patch did secure a photo of young KayTay and Julie enjoying a brief bonding session.

Reports are that our star thoroughly enjoyed both meetings. "Julie and Alex are way cool," she said, "I can't wait to spend more time with them as well as their clients Jonah, Abby and Ellie." As always, the Bean Patch will report on future events as they occur.

"It's A Zoo Out There," Exclaims KayTay

On a perfect spring Saturday in Washington, our young starlet was spotted at The National Zoo. Along with thousands (per chance millions?) of visitors, she viewed the giant pandas, hippos, elephants, and zebras.

It was KayTay's first trip to the zoo and she said to the press, "This will be my first visit of many. I can't wait to come back and see the monkeys and lions." After the tour, she needed a refreshment and was seen at the nearby Starbucks. She was so interested in playing with her new found espresso cup that she didn't even notice the paparazzi gathering to take her photograph.

KayTay Spends Weekend Afternoon with Boston Star

This past Saturday, Kay Taylor played host to new friend and rising Boston star, Madeline O'Leary. Reports are the two enjoyed a brief walk around the neighborhood together before they relaxed at a local church playground.

Madeline showed off her dexterity as she rapidly scaled the jungle gym's rock wall, only to quickly descend the neighboring slide and repeat the process. Kay Taylor was thoroughly impressed and clearly wanted to discuss more acrobatics with young Madeline even when the two paused for a photo before leaving the playground.

As her co-agents spent a leisurely dinner enjoying food from local Chinese restaurant Chen's Gourmet with Madeline's father Brendan, Kay Taylor and young Madeline swapped stories about their respective careers.

Reports are Kay Taylor then headed off to bed early, but as the two O'Learys drove away from the house, the young Boston guest wished our starlet the best. Then she uttered, "that's all there is; there isn't any more."

Star Enjoys Mother's Day Celebration

Mother's Day arrived in Washington today, and our young star began her celebrating early this morning. Thinking it might be an opportune time to discuss career strategies, Kay Taylor's father/co-agent decided to gather our star for an impromptu one-on-one discussion while her mother/co-agent opted for a little more time to rest up for a busy day.

After their strategy session ended, our starlet and her father/co-agent headed out for a quick shopping trip. Their destinations: Praline Bakery and Edible Arrangements. Armed with a couple of elegant croissants and a beautiful, little bouquet made of strawberries, grapes and pineapple/melon daisies, Kay Taylor returned bearing gifts for her other co-agent.

Still, before she could comfortably present the gift, she felt it needed last minute inspection.

After a leisurely breakfast, Kay Taylor headed over to see her father/co-agent's mother. When later told Grandparents' Day wasn't until early September, our young lady was reported as saying, "if she weren't my father's mother, I wouldn't be here. I'd say that's a reason to celebrate her too." Then, after a brief pause, she added, "and who has ever heard of Grandparents' Day, anyway?"

Then, as the day drew to an end, our star realized it was time for some private bonding with her mother/co-agent. Reports are she didn't have much to say but she did offer up a big hug and a hearty thank you for a being an excellent co-agent... as well as a great mom.

Play Ball! Star Christens Nationals Park, Nats Win

After several sessions during which her co-agent/father worked to reconnoiter DC's new ballpark, Kay Taylor decided to make a surprise appearance at today's game between the Nationals and the Pittsburgh Pirates. To avoid attracting attention, her attendance was not announced to the local media, and it appeared she and her co-agents were able to move easily among the crowd of fans.

As she entered the park, our starlet described it as "awesome." She was particularly impressed by the jungle gym just for kids and the intriguing Build-a-Bear Workshop - both of which she promised to investigate further at a future trip. She posed for a quick photo on her way to her seats...

...and then settled in to begin to watch the action...

...and, of course, to promote her favorite team.

But, what would a baseball game be without a few drinks?

Maybe it was the excitement of the game, but our young star became so enthusiastic that she was spotted jumping up from her seat and cheering.

Still, between innings, she took some time out to bond with her co-agent.

Although there were unconfirmed reports she did not stay until the conclusion of the game, the Nationals did manage to hold on for a narrow 9-8 victory. However, in Washington, it's difficult to be completely inconspicuous at such a public event, and our star did pause on her way from the ballpark to shake hands with several other notable DC celebrities.
