Kay Taylor Sighted at Marine Corps Marathon

Sunday morning was chilly and sunny, a perfect day for the Marine Corps Marathon. Kay Taylor headed out early to support the 25,000 runners. Perched on her co-agent's back, she enthusiastically clapped for the participants - especially Teddy Roosevelt from the Washington Nationals. The morning also included a trip to the new Palisades Farmers' Market and Starbucks before heading home.

After a fun afternoon of watching the Redskins beat the Detroit Lions, Kay Taylor prepared for her dinner guest - Brendan O'Leary. She was very excited to see him but did miss Madeline, Jake and Trystan.

It's good to see our little star feeling better and getting back into the social scene.

Sunday in the Park with Phoebe Jane

The Bean Patch sends a special thank you to our loyal readers for their well wishes. Over the past week, Kay Taylor has been recovering from a serious bout of Norovirus. The virus was so severe that she spent five days in the hospital. Thanks to Children's Hospital, an excellent uncle (he's also a top-notch pediatrician), lots of rest, and many IVs, our little star is shining again.

Rather than release photos of the star during her recovery, she requested we share a photo taken before the illness. A few weeks ago, Kay Taylor spent a beautiful Sunday evening with her Grandmama Winthrop at the dog park. She loved her new carrier and especially loved spending some quality time with her grandmother. It looks like this could become a regular outing for the two.

Star Lunches in Old Town

This past Sunday, Kay Taylor ventured across the Potomac to Old Town Alexandria for lunch with the Cecchi family. The young Cecchis, Marco, Fior, and Piero, were nice enough to share their home and toys with her. They even posed for a couple of photos.

After a full afternoon, Kay Taylor and her co-agents returned home for the exciting Redskins/Cowboys game. Before the game, the paparazzi managed to take a few pictures of the star. They really captured her smile and new teeth (two on the bottom and one on the top)!

Kay Taylor, Queen of the Burger

Sources report the photo is over a month old but editors decided it was too cute not to share with Bean Patch readers.

During a road trip to Lynchburg, Virginia, Kay Taylor was spotted with her co-agent's co-agent at a Burger King. Although she didn't sample any Whoppers, she certainly seemed to like the free headgear.

Kay Taylor Standing Tall

After several attempts, early-to-rise photographers captured Kay Taylor's new trick on camera. While she was surprised to find cameras in her room at such an early hour, she was excited to show the world that she stands for something.

Her co-agents were interviewed and shared the following insights, "Over these past few weeks, Kay Taylor's developmental skills have sky-rocketed. Not only is she standing, she's talking up a storm, cutting several teeth, feeding herself, and imitating behavior. The changes have been remarkable."

Stand in the Place Where You Are

Breaking news...

Although it has not been captured in photographs, our sources tell us that Kay Taylor is pulling herself into a standing position. A close friend confirmed, "She's been working on it for, like, two weeks. She finally did it yesterday. Once she pulled herself up in her crib, she stood there and laughed like a maniac. It was a little scary!" Today, her co-agent confirmed that she repeated the maneuver and pulled herself into a stand on the step leading from the family room.

The paparazzi has been hounding her and it is just a matter of time before the new skill is captured on film. Stay tuned for more information and photos.

Star Gives Her Seal of Approval

On an early evening boat ride, Kay Taylor enjoyed a calm sea and lots of wildlife. As the star ventured further out into the ocean, her co-agent spotted a large, unidentified marine mammal on the water's surface. Could it have been a whale? After much speculation, it was determined it could have been, but it could not definitively be confirmed.

Later, the star pulled up near Grass Ledge and spotted dozens of seals. Surprised by the star's visit, they quickly jumped into the water and watched her from the protection of the bay. She didn't pay much attention to them, but she certainly had their attention. Apparently, even marine life recognizes a star when they see one.

Kay Taylor Samples World's Largest Pancake

After an early morning ferry ride to Rockland, Kay Taylor decided it was time for a hearty breakfast at the Rockland Cafe. While she has been eating many fruits and vegetables (peas, lentils, pears, and peaches are some of her favorites) over the past few months, Kay Taylor has started to sample some table foods. After taking her seat at the table, she perused the menu and decided that a buttermilk pancake sounded tasty. When it arrived she was shocked that it was bigger than her head!

After eating a good bit of it (with the help of her co-agents), Kay Taylor pronounced it delicious and announced that she can't wait to return for their famous fish cakes.

Ahoy Matey - Take 2! Kay Taylor Ventures Out Again

Though the first outing was met with mixed results, Kay Taylor and her agents remained undaunted and headed out into Pulpit Harbor again last week. Our young star reportedly described the outing as "not half bad" and broke into several large smiles as people from neighboring boats waved adoringly at her. "Is that the Kay Taylor?" some would exclaim as the star coyly acknowledged them. Young KayTay particularly enjoyed the larger sailboats coming into the harbor to anchor for the evening.

At the end of the trip, the starlet appeared happy as she took time to smile and wave to the cameras. Truthfully, however, it's unclear whether the reaction was to a successful outing or to being finally freed from her life jacket. Regardless, she was left wanting more -- a good sign for her nautical future.

Kay Taylor's publicity department is well aware of how trends in the entertainment industry can change quickly. Well, KayTay herself enjoyed a leisurely meal and headed off to bed, but the weather in Pulpit Harbor turned abruptly to fog and the once friendly, waving fans quietly disappeared into the mist.

Kay Taylor Makes Sweet Music in New Class

On a secluded island in Penobscot Bay, Monday is a day to come together and enjoy music, and, when there's a social event worth attending, Kay Taylor makes every effort to be there.

North Haven's local chapter of Kindermusik meets every Monday at the now five-year-old Waterman's Community Center. Our young star appears rapt with joy as the class begins with the familiar "Monday Morning Music" welcome song and follows closely as it moves from a group musical number with assorted instruments to an interactive song/dance "Into the Kitchen and Take a Peek." The highlight for our starlet appears to be when the attendees all sing and dance around with the multi-colored scarves. "Combining fashion, music and a social event?" one industry observer quiped, "I can't think of something more appropriate for a young up-and-comer like Kay Taylor. She enjoys herself, but, more importantly, who wouldn't want someone like her at an event like that? It instantly makes it the place to be."
