Kay Taylor Begins Career with Private Photo Shoots

After a busy series of publicity shots and private interviews, Kay Taylor (a.k.a. the Jellybean) managed to catch a few minutes of shut-eye with her co-agent and father. Since leaving the hospital on Sunday, Kay Taylor has met with her career coach, Dr. Van Vleck, who pronounced her debut a success and began the complicated job of making her career equally successful. She has also participated in several photo shoots with family members. After settling in to her new bachelorette pad in Washington, DC this week, she will begin to expand her meetings to others in the area. According to an anonymous insider, right now her career is mostly about eating sleeping and relieving herself.

Jellybean Debuts, Fans Celebrate

A Star Is Born!

Amid fanfare befitting the most promising of young celebrities, the Jellybean debuted yesterday afternoon at 4:03pm at Sibley Memorial Hospital. Both of her co-agents were on the scene and Dr. Newman and RN Kamillah were chief in choreographing the specifics of the truly successful debut. The Jellybean looked ravishing in a white receiving blanket and pink-bowed cap as the scene quickly exploded in flash bulbs from assorted paparazzi and fans as she appeared. In a press release issued immediately after the debut, it was revealed the Jellybean is actually Katharine Taylor Louise Winthrop although she would be known to her fans as simply Kay Taylor.

One fashion maven commented from the scene: “I don’t know who swaddled that receiving blanket but she looks stunning. I’d say she must be about 20 inches long and roughly 6 pounds 10 ounces – an excellent example of how a young star should look.” Another fan from the scene: “I’m just so happy she’s here. I’m no Joan Collins but I think she looks beautiful.”

An industry insider praised the two co-agents this morning. “One could hardly ask for a smoother debut, especially from two novice agents like hers. Special credit goes to her mother/co-agent who really labored through the entire process. She did an outstanding job.”

The Bean Patch has secured photos of the event and will pass them on to our readers as they become ready for publication.

Jellybean's Co-Agents Arrive at Sibley, Debut Imminent

"Business as Usual" as Waiting Continues

Although prepared for a debut at any time, most of the Jellybean's insiders decided to return to their normal routine for the Thanksgiving holiday. One insider: "For the holiday, it was 'business as usual' so to speak for those at Camp Jellybean. Most everyone returned to their plans from previous Thanksgivings." In that vein, the Jellybean's co-agents spent the morning in Olney, MD with her co-agent and mother's parents and then returned to Washington, DC for dinner with her other co-agent and father's parents. Reports are the food everywhere was delicious, and the co-agents returned home with full bellies for their continued preparations over the holiday weekend.

The Bean Patch wishes all its loyal readers all the best for a Happy Thanksgiving Weekend.

Fans Suspect Arrival But Jellybean's Still a No-Show

In one of the most exciting developments to date, the Jellybean's two co-agents hurriedly left the offices of her talent coaches this morning and headed directly to Sibley Memorial Hospital, the scheduled site of her debut. There, the two co-agents were met by a crowd of fans and paparazzi who erupted in cheers as the two entered the building. However, nearly two hours later the two co-agents left the building smiling but with no sign of the Jellybean yet again.

Reports have been leaked that Lightfoote (the Jellybean's primary talent coach) suggested the trip to Sibley after the Jellybean's mother and co-agent underwent a routine non-stress(ful) test this morning. Observations at Sibley included heart rates, fluid levels and general health checks. Presumably, there were other pre-debut preparations taking place during the visit. It is rumored several photos were also taken of the Jellybean although no photos have been released by her press department. After all tests were completed and a clean bill of health was issued, the co-agents decided to leave.

In related news, it was believed that among the discussions with the talent coaches this morning was prospect of petitioning an arbitrator to compel the Jellybean to arrive on Monday, November 26th if she has not debuted before that time. The Bean Patch will continue to investigate this story and report more as it is known.

Excitement Grows But Still No Sign of Jellybean

Anticipation continues to build as each day passes without sign of the Jellybean at her scheduled debut site. The Bean Patch has learned her co-agents have received several phone calls and e-mails from eager well-wishers while all at Camp Jellybean diligently await the young star. Consistent with their now weekly meetings, her parents/co-agents are scheduled to meet tomorrow morning at the offices of her talent coaches. While the talent of the Jellybean is the primary focus, there is speculation the Jellybean's mother will undergo a non-stress(ful) test to monitor her health as the demands of the young star's debut continue to weigh on the novice agent. The Bean Patch will continue to report as news develops.

Jellybean Doesn't Show as Scheduled Debut Date Passes

With winter beginning to arrive in DC, temperatures were low but spirits high yesterday as paparazzi and fans together collected outside Sibley Memorial Hospital expecting to be part of the debut of our beloved Jellybean. However, the day passed without so much as a sign of our young star, although many kept vigil knowing her debut would still be soon. "We're just here because we want to be part of history," one fan commented. Industry observers were more indifferent about the developments. "I've said before these 'debut dates' are targets, not appointments to be kept. We know from reports by the talent coaches, she's ready for debut, but it's impossible to tell when the Jellybean herself will be ready." The waiting continues.

In other news and in response to requests by our readers, the Bean Patch has obtained several photos of the Jellybean's DC bachelorette pad. Reports are that the firm of JLSW/DSS Decorators were responsible for the design, and Tom & Dudley Contractors were tasked with bringing the design into reality. Both firms have clearly outdone themselves in making a room fitting of such a high-style celebrity as the Jellybean.

After Meeting with Talent Coaches, Debut Described as "Soon"

Fans gathered outside the offices of the Jellybean's talent coaches this morning as her co-agents once again arrived for their weekly meeting. Although some carried signs reading "we love you Jellybean," the co-agents entered and exited the office with no sign of the young star. In an uncharacteristic pause to meet with the media, the Jellybean's father/co-agent described the meeting as "good" and indicated the talent coaches suggested the debut would be "soon." He then reminded the crowd of this Saturday's scheduled debut date.

Industry observers were quick to point out, however, that debut dates were usually mere targets, and fans should not necessarily count on the Jellybean's debut occurring this weekend. "The number of stars who debut when they say they will is 5% or fewer," one observer commented. "I'd trust her father/co-agent that the debut is 'soon,' but beyond that, it's anyone's guess." Regardless of when exactly, it's clear anticipation continues to grow.

For Jellybean Insiders, Preparations (and Waiting) Continue

As another day passes without the Jellybean making her debut, her inside circle continues to step up their preparations for the big day. One industry observer: "In some ways, you can't fully prepare for everything. A debut is reasonably unpredictable -- you don't know how the debut will play out or how the public will receive a young star. I think her parents/co-agents are probably going through their to-do list over and over again."

As enthusiasm grows, experts have warned that, while most believe the debut is imminent, it could be still a week or so of waiting. Undeterred, several members of the paparazzi have begun to collect at Sibley Memorial Hospital where the debut is expected to take place. The Bean Patch learned Sibley is the same location the Jellybean's father made his (much less heralded) debut over 35 years ago.

No News as Debut Date Draws Near

While many have come to believe the Jellybean might debut early, another weekend passed with our young star still unseen by her adoring public. The Jellybean did have her weekly meeting with her talent coaches on Friday and, once again, was given glowing marks on her development. One talent coach did remark the Jellybean was certainly "ready" to debut at any time now -- a comment which only helped fuel rumors of a debut over this past weekend. According to unnamed sources, the Jellybean will again meet with her talent coaches this coming Thursday.

In other news, the Jellybean's mother, who was juggling two jobs since taking on the job as her co-agent, finally began an extended leave from her other job to focus exclusively on the Jellybean's imminent debut. More news to follow as it develops.

Jellybean's Talent Grows, Co-Agent Says

"The Jellybean's talent is growing everyday," her mother and co-agent announced this morning at an interview with reporters. However, it would appear from a photo snapped immediately following this session that the Jellybean's mother is growing as well. Many were quick to defend the growing waistline: "Career launches are very stressful on agents and I can't imagine what's it's like on the mother of a star as well. It's not unusual for a person in her position to be having difficulty sleeping, be eating more, and be feeling a great deal more pressure. I personally think the Jellybean's mother and co-agent looks great." Other comments were even more pointed: "We're awaiting a star's debut here, people. Why are we talking about her agent? What we need is pictures of the Jellybean. Her debut could be any day now. Let's focus on what's important."

On a related note, reports have surfaced the Jellybean's DC bachelorette pad was nearing completion. The Bean Patch will stay on top of the story and attempt to get pictures out to you, our loyal readers, as quickly as possible.

Jellybean Celebrates Boston "Bean" on Verge of Debut

Only weeks before her own scheduled debut, the Jellybean's press department released news of the imminent debut of another star in Boston, Massachusetts. Many have assumed this star -- who coincidentally has been described with the similar moniker "the Bean" -- might be a potential competitor with our beloved Jellybean. "Let's be honest; there is room for only so many 'beans' out there," one critic remarked earlier this year. However, the Jellybean's press department emphasized there were no such competitive feelings between these two "beans" and that the Jellybean herself was excitedly following the developments in Boston with rapt attention.

"We here at Camp Jellybean are ecstatic about this new starlet in the Boston area and feel any suggestion of competition between us and 'the Bean' is completely ridiculous. DC and Boston are 400 miles apart; there's plenty of room for both these stars to prosper. We wish the best to all those involved with this career launch and hope these two 'beans' will be friends, co-stars and partners in two highly successful careers." With this debut happening in the next twenty-four hours, it would appear Boston is truly living up to the name "Beantown."

Again Jellybean Meets Talent Coaches, Progress Good

As her debut draws closer, the Jellybean again met with her talent coaches this morning for their (now) weekly evaluation of her progress. Although the meeting was confidential, rumors have surfaced the star got another glowing assessment. In fact, it appears earlier concerns of her co-agents' anxiety (and subsequent higher blood pressure) were exaggerated, as both agents appeared to leave the office looking comfortable and relaxed.

However, there was still no sign of the Jellybean herself. Frustrated paparazzi lined the streets outside the talents coaches' office but were again left without any photos of the young starlet. There was some excitement when a crazed woman was escorted away from the office by security as the Jellybean's co-agents left the building. "She's in there! I'm telling you people she's in there!" the woman shouted as she waved and pointed in the direction of the Jellybean's co-agents and the building's exit. Still, though many waited, the young star never emerged.
